Give to the Library Foundation!
The Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library offers a variety of materials, services, and programs, but we can’t do it alone. While public monies fund much of our Library, we rely on private gifts to go above and beyond when serving our community. While books, volunteer time, and smaller donations are utilized by the Friends of the Library, the Flagstaff Public Library Foundation manages larger gifts.
The Foundation, founded in 1992, accepts contributions, places them in a permanent endowment fund, and uses the interest earned from the fund to enhance library services and special collections. Just this past year, the Foundation funded projects totaling nearly $20,000, enhancing services such as the bookmobiles, youth educational activities, and adult programs.
Individuals and organizations can contribute to the Foundation in a number of ways, including direct cash donations; bequests; memorial funds; securities, stocks, and bonds; personal property, such as artwork, antiques, jewelry, or coins; sponsoring a special library program; or establishing a perpetual book fund. You can find more information on how to donate here. All donations are deductible in accordance with current tax law.
We encourage you to give to the Foundation to help make our great library even better, now and into the future!
