Journey of the Human Spirit

Museum of Northern Arizona's Artist in Residence, Ed Kabotie, will give a lecture and musical reaction to his father's mural, Journey of the Human Spirit (Michael Kabotie, 1942-2009). The lecture will focus on the journey of the Pueblo People of New Mexico and Arizona -- the mythic and historic past, troubled present, and prophetic future. The program begins with refreshments and live music with Ed's band 'Tha Yoties at 5:30 in the Museum's courtyard, and the lecture begins at 6:30 in the Branigar Chase Auditorium. The event is free.

Presenter William D. Waldock is a Professor of Safety Science at Embry – Riddle Aeronautical University & the creator of its aviation safety programs. He is a retires U.S. Coast Guard officer, a pilot, and has been investigating accidents for more than three decades, participating in more than 200 aircraft investigations and analyzing 500 more.

Provided with funds granted by the Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records Agency.
