Volunteering at the Library
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Flagstaff Public Library. Our need for volunteers fluctuates. If there are no current openings your application will be kept on file and considered when a vacancy occurs.

The following volunteer positions may be available:
GENERAL (Downtown or East Flagstaff Community Library)
Shelf-reading; shelving; assisting with weeding and discarding books.
TECHNOLOGY & COMPUTER INSTRUCTION (Downtown or East Flagstaff Community Library)
One-on-one computer and technology instruction with patrons who sign up for an appointment; includes software and Internet instruction, general computer skills, completing job applications and résumés, and/or training on various library databases. Volunteers must have advanced technology/software knowledge or previous technology/software instruction experience.
DONATION EVALUATION & FUNDRAISING SALES
Sorting through donated materials, researching their value, and preparing them for placement in the library’s Amazon storefront for sale; may include photographing and mailing materials.
Mending damaged books, DVDs, and CDs; covering and labeling books.
Pulling materials from the Downtown library for Bookmobile patrons; assisting with off-site programs.
